Gasket is made from rubber sheet by mechanical machining or directly molding and vulcanized from raw rubber.Inthe beginning,Rubber Gasket is made of nature rubber.However,it has been replaced by variety of high performancesynthetic rubber due to the restriction in high temperature resistance,mineral oil resistance and corrosion resistance.
Rubber Gasket performs flexible,good anti-permeability and easy processing.It exhibits excellent sealing performanceeven in low surface quality flange.Table 12 lists the specifications of Rubber Gaskets.
